Fund Accountant | Gen II Fund Services The Tone: This is a full-time Fund Accountant role at Gen II Fund Services, with US-based employees required to work a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days remotely. Gen II is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, managing over $1 trillion in private capital across diverse asset classes like private equity, real estate, and venture capital. In this role, you will be crucial in providing comprehensive accounting services, from processing transactions to preparing financial statements, supporting the efficient operation and robust financial reporting for private funds. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: Hybrid Pay: $60000-$70000 yearly Mission: Provide essential accounting services to private equity funds, ensuring accurate financial reporting and transaction processing. What You'll Actually Do Manage: Process cash transactions and perform bank reconciliations. Record: Accurately record and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger. Prepare: Develop and organize workpapers, checklists, financial statements, and footnotes. Process: Handle investor capital calls and distributions, including partner capital account information. Liaise: Serve as a point of contact with the client's independent auditors. The Must-Haves Background: Early Career professional with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience: Legally authorized to work in the United States and experience with general accounting principles and practices.
