QA Engineer Automated 3Location: Austin Local (Hybrid position - requiring two days onsite and three days remote work)6 months Contract with possibility to extensionCreating test plans, test cases and preparing test environments.Performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.Planning and scheduling tasks to ensure that developed products meet business requirements and design specifications.Creating and executing manual testing procedures.Identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects.Ability to collaborate with the client organization and 3rd party vendors.Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the testing field.Understanding of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proven problem-solving ability.Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle.Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly.Experience with documentation/bug tracking tools like Azure DevOpsExperience with a version control system like Azure DevOpsSkill in performing different types of testing like Functional, Integration, Regression, Database, Browser Compatibility, Accessibility and Security TestingAbility to effectively handle multiple responsibilities and priorities and manage time in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment.Candidate Skills and Qualifications:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience8 - Required - Quality Assurance Testing in IT technical environment managing testing to tight timelines5 - Required - Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment3 - Required - Experience using Azure DevOps for QA Testing and Test Management2 - Required - Experience working in Azure cloud environment2 - Required - SQL queries and able to develop query-based test cases1 - Required - API testing experience with Postman/Swagger2 - Preferred
