Qualifications:

• Active certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan is required.
• Proven experience working directly with secondary-level (middle or high school) students in an onsite school setting.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment, intervention, and counseling practices.
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs.
• Offer direct intervention and counseling services to students individually and in small groups.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver strategies and support plans that promote students’ academic and social-emotional development.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
• Help cultivate an inclusive, respectful school culture that values student diversity and supports positive mental health.
• Maintain thorough records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
