Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a School Psychologist serving a diverse K-12 district. This contract opportunity, based near Warren, MI, spans the entire academic year from August 31, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You’ll work a steady 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, collaborating with educators and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being.

Ideal candidates will bring strong diagnostic and consultative skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a passion for creating supportive learning environments.

Qualifications and Credentials

• Michigan State School Psychologist Certification (required)
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting
• Collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and support staff
• Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and student support planning
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic and behavioral challenges
• Provide counseling, crisis response, and individual/group interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for compliance
• Offer support and consultation to teachers and families
