Job Description As a Security Officer Entry Point Security in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.81 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday to Friday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels. Support store operations by monitoring foot traffic, observing for unusual activity, and assisting with crowd management during busy periods and/or special events. Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
