Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst - Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity. Pay range: $30.00 per hour.

This role will support multiple functions and processes within Lockbox in Payment and Deposit Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong UAT testing experience and Excel skills, focusing on procedure development, test script writing, and manual data preparation for operational testing.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support
• Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications in process improvement projects
• Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications as assigned; applications can include mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and/or web-based applications
• Mine data from primary and secondary sources often using complex joins across multiple datasets
• Play a leadership role in providing ongoing production support within Payment and Deposit Operations applications and processes; act as first line of contact for user reported inquiries and problems; perform problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures
• Deliver high quality support and great service to internal/external partners and clients
• Actively participate and provide guidance as it relates to Lockbox, and the associated applications/systems, process initiatives and projects
• Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners; translate technical material to the Loan, Payment, and Operational Services Process Areas and Lines of Business
• Analyze qualitative, operational & financial data for strong problem solving
• Work cross-functionally with a variety of different personality types

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of ideally 2+ years in an operational or support environment
• Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage change and stay on top of task assignments
• Strong decision making and analytical skills
• Ability to facilitate research and resolution of sometimes less-than-straight-forward issues
• Strong aptitude to technology based tools and databases (i.e., Excel, Access)
• Interest, willingness and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly
• Works well in a team-based environment

Desired skills:

• 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience
• Technically savvy in relation to Windows systems and software
• Experience in Excel and Jira with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivot tables, data graphs/visualization
