Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger activity as the Senior Accountant
• Lead the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial review as the Senior Accountant
• Support internal and external audit activities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies as the Senior Accountant
• Analyze revenue streams, operating expenses, and business performance across multiple facilities as the Senior Accountant
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic financial analysis as the Senior Accountant
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency as the Senior Accountant

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred
• 3-6+ years of accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, audit support, and month-end close processes
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Excel proficiency
