Warehouse Associate – Rework Operator

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Interview: No interview required. The manager will review resumes and make the final selection.
Forklift Experience: Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate – Rework Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently managing the bagging and rework area while following all plant safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all plant rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow the established attendance policy.
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Learn and identify the locations of emergency stop buttons and jam-up controls.
• Use the facility phone and paging system as required.
• Follow established warehouse, shipping, and material-handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including pallet tracking, cycle counts, rework, and customer returns.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding customer returns, product quality, and finished goods.
• Safely operate the automated/robotic wrapping machine after appropriate training.
• Identify product quality issues or damage and take appropriate corrective action.
• Follow environmental, recycling, and waste-disposal procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and tools safely and appropriately.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12+ hours when required.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
• • Steel-toed shoes
  • Eye protection
  • Hearing protection
  • Long-sleeved shirt with shirt tail tucked in, as required
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work area.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks. Employees must follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
