Cat Scan (CT) Technologist

Cat Scan (CT) Technician Schedule: Full‑time inpatient position, 1900‑0700 Friday‑Sunday. Responsibilities: Reviews patient history and physician’s orders. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered, within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies, implements safety standards, performs quality control procedures, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies quality issues, taking appropriate actions such as repositioning patient or repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results. Accepts on‑call assignments for scheduled shifts and is available within 30 minutes of notification. Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage for full‑time and part‑time employees. Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences. ARC Radiography required. ARRT CT or CT eligible required. NM license in Radiography required.
