Description:
The Prairie Hills Elementary School District is seeking an individual to fill a Paraprofessional positions for the 2026-2027 school year.

Job Summary:
The Paraprofessional is responsible for assisting the teacher in a variety of instructional activities and performing a variety of instructional support tasks: preparing and completing materials, assisting students in instructional assignments and courses, and other educational instruction needs.

Qualifications:
Illinois paraprofessional certification required
Must be fluent in Spanish
Initiative to follow through with assigned tasks
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to perform small group instruction and one-on-one skills for behavior/academics
Effective computer skills

Working Conditions:
The work year for this position is 180 days. Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional salary schedule. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health, and dental insurance

Salary:
Salary will be regionally competitive and based upon experience
