Driven by a mission to provide reprieve from the chaos of the world, the brand has close ties to mental health non-profits and a dedication to inclusion and supporting neurodiversity through our experience and our workforce.Position SummaryThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.Responsibilities:Receive and unload shipments with enthusiasm and efficiency.Comfortable carrying heavy boxes (upwards to 50+ pounds)Comfortable bending, reaching, lift, etc...Comfortably navigate stairs while ensuring the safe handling of incoming goods.Stock shelves with precision and attention to detail.Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.Perform cleaning duties to uphold a clean and inviting environment.Other responsibilities as assigned by managers.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.Keen attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.Basic understanding of safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.Creative mindset with an openness to experimenting with new ideas.Ability to work well in a team setting and contribute to a positive work environment.Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and handle small components.Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, ready to bring joy to our guests whenever needed.A team player who is also capable of working independently, with a genuine passion for fun, creativity, and the Sloomoo brand.Inclusivity Commitment: Sloomoo Institute is a company that respects and welcomes the uniqueness of each employee and offers everyone the means to find their place and thrive.
