Build your future with us.The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Commercial Pricing Analytics department has an opening for an associate actuary, actuary I, or actuary II in large commercial account pricing. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.Be ready to:review pricing proposals for large commercial accountsprovide recommendations to underwriters and collaborate throughout the pricing and decision-making processperform loss-sensitive pricing and collateral evaluationmaintain and enhance large account pricing toolsresearch and implement pricing improvements, including construction of multi-variate pricing modelsenhance business unit reporting by distilling and communicating key findingsbuild tools to enhance business unit productivityperform ad-hoc analysesBe equipped with:robust SQL experience (preferred)strong SAS experience (preferred)proficiency in Excel VBA (preferred)basic Python experience, including pandas/NumPy, Excel/file system manipulation and generalized linear models (preferred)experience with penalized regression models (preferred)excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skillsBring education or experience from:a bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or a similar technical field of study (required)business coursework (preferred)four or more years of P&C actuarial experience (required) and commercial pricing experience (preferred)an ACAS designation (required)an FCAS designation (preferred)Enhance your talents.
