Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Whiteland, IN .

Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Whiteland, IN
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $21/hour to $23.40/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

• Provide direct clinical support to the healthcare provider, including rooming patients, recording vital signs, updating patient histories, and preparing charts before appointments.
• Handle medication refill requests, respond to patient messages, and document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Support family practice operations, including Annual Wellness Visit preparation, patient follow-ups, and routine clinical and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Education: High School
• Certification(s): Medical Assistant certification.
• Years of experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant Medical Assistant experience
