Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Located on the hospital's Skilled Nursing Unit and potentially covering acute care in the joint connection unit, this role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services within a 19-bed unit. The position requires delivering quality patient care across various settings, including acute inpatient, acute rehab, and outpatient services, with shifts scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Details Position Description: The Physical Therapist will work within our Skilled Nursing Unit housed on a hospital campus, providing therapy for a diverse patient population with various diagnoses. The unit may also require coverage in the acute care setting within the joint connection unit. Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) verification; Physical Therapist License or Temporary License through West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists or Physical Therapist Compact License. Minimum of 1 year of experience. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Department-specific orientation is provided. Candidates must have experience working in Skilled Nursing Units and possibly acute care, with a focus on inpatient and outpatient therapy. Charting is performed using MEDITECH. Required Certifications: BLS (AHA).
