Pipeline Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a Pipeline Integrity Specialist to join our team at Cronus. The candidate must be located in South Louisiana and available to work in an office setting daily.

This is an outstanding position for an experienced integrity professional capable of managing multiple assessments and contractors, reviewing technical findings, establishing priorities, and providing clear recommendations to management and operations personnel.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority for pipeline integrity and will be expected to take ownership of the program with minimal oversight. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing the Company's pipeline integrity management program, providing technical and operational oversight of pipeline integrity activities, managing third-party engineering and inspection contractors, and evaluating and interpreting inspection and assessment results to support safe, reliable, and compliant pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the Operator’s pipeline integrity management program, including program plans, procedures, inspection schedules, budgets, and performance tracking.

· Ensure pipeline integrity activities comply with applicable regulations, company requirements, and recognized industry codes and standards.

· Manage engineering consultants, ILI vendors, inspection companies, NDE providers, corrosion specialists, and other integrity contractors, including scopes, schedules, deliverables, and performance.

· Plan and coordinate inline inspections, direct assessments, hydrostatic testing, corrosion surveys, field verifications, and other pipeline condition assessments.

· Evaluate and interpret inspection results, including corrosion, cracking, dents, deformation, mechanical damage, weld features, and other pipeline anomalies.

· Oversee remaining-strength calculations, fitness-for-service evaluations, corrosion-growth assessments, remaining-life estimates, and reinspection interval determinations.

· Prioritize anomalies and develop recommendations for monitoring, further assessment, repair, pressure restriction, replacement, or continued operation.

· Develop and oversee field-verification, remediation, and repair programs, including reconciliation of field findings with reported inspection data.

· Evaluate pipeline threats and support risk assessments to prioritize integrity activities and expenditures.

· Coordinate integrity activities with operations, engineering, maintenance, HSE, regulatory, and project teams.

· Maintain complete and auditable integrity records and ensure identified actions and regulatory commitments are completed within the required timeframes.

· Provide technical recommendations and program updates to management and support audits, incident investigations, management-of-change reviews, and occasional offshore or field activities.

What We're Looking For

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred, with a minimum of five years of relevant oil and gas industry experience. Equivalent technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Professional Engineer registration in Louisiana.

· Demonstrated experience managing an operator’s pipeline integrity management program, or a major portion of such a program, for offshore and onshore liquid or natural-gas pipeline systems.

· Strong knowledge of ILI technologies, inspection-data interpretation, anomaly assessment, corrosion evaluation, pipeline repair methods, and field-verification activities.

· Experience with corrosion-growth modeling, remaining-strength calculations, fitness-for-service assessments, risk-based inspection planning, and reinspection interval determination.

· Working knowledge of applicable pipeline regulations and standards, including 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.8S, API 1160, API 1176, API 579/ASME FFS-1, and applicable NACE/AMPP standards.

· Proven ability to manage integrity contractors, concurrent assessments, schedules, budgets, corrective actions, and technical deliverables while communicating clear, practical recommendations.

· Ability and willingness to travel offshore and to other operating locations as required, with current offshore survival, water-survival, and transportation-worker credentials or the ability to obtain them.
