Systems Engineer For A/V ServicesThe Systems Engineer for A/V Services is responsible for the technical implementation and engineering of A/V and conferencing solutions used globally by customer employees and partners. These solutions will enable the workforce to collaborate in a hybrid work environment. This technical position is expected to apply an engineering mindset to system administration and design topics elevating the availability, reliability, and security of solutions while reducing operational costs.Specific solutions include:Video Conferencing (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco)Audio/Visual Control (Crestron, Logitech)Digital Signage and CMS (Christie, WebDT, YCD, Chromebox)Specific responsibilities include:Implement enterprise monitoring solution for global footprint of AV and VC devicesOptimize audio visual and video conferencing solutions for peak performanceContribute to the technical design, implementation, and operation of conferencing solutions with an emphasis on Microsoft Teams Rooms architecture, security, and automated provisioningParticipate in the reliability engineering center of excellence including the creation of standard artifacts, best practices, and learning plansParticipate as a standing member of the engineering review board to evaluate trade studies, approve solution designs, and maintain the overall conferencing services system architectureParticipate in the weekly agile process to resolve technical impediments and assist in user story definition and sizingResearch new technologies to improve the conferencing experienceInstall, configure & maintain TMS Management systems (Telepresence management system)Desired characteristics include:Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to stakeholders and engineersAbility to build effective cross-functional relationships in support of delivering enterprise-wide solutionsAbility to execute within a fast-paced agile processHigh attention to detail while balancing multiple projectsWork with Microsoft Teams and Cloud Video Interop solutionsDevelop A/V flow, wiring diagrams, and other engineering drawings
