Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Land Development to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of residential, commercial or mixed-use development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. This role will manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within approved budgets. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, authorities, landowners and other stakeholders to achieve high-quality project outcomes.


Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, risk registers and delivery plans; coordinating planning, engineering, environmental and other technical consultants; overseeing approvals, permits, contracts and procurement activities; and monitoring construction progress, costs, quality, safety and compliance. You will identify and resolve project issues, provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders, manage variations and claims, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date. The role will also involve supporting feasibility assessments, contributing to development strategies and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.


To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience managing land development or major infrastructure projects, ideally within a property development, civil construction, planning or engineering environment. You will possess strong knowledge of development approvals, statutory processes, civil works and project delivery methodologies, together with proven capability in budget management, scheduling, contract administration and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential. A relevant qualification in project management, engineering, construction, property, planning or a related discipline will be highly regarded, along with experience using project management and reporting systems. You will be proactive, commercially aware and confident working independently while collaborating effectively with diverse project teams.
