Utility Systems Repairer Operator

Job Title

In this position, you will:

• Work a rotating shift schedule and perform maintenance activities as required.
• Operate and maintain central utility plant equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform a variety of duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor to support continuous plant operations.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain four high-pressure steam generators producing 44,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain two high-pressure steam generators producing 80,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi.
• Operate and maintain four centrifugal electric motor-driven air compressors supplying compressed air at 110 psi.
• Operate and maintain four 3,500-ton electric-driven York centrifugal chillers and two 3,500-ton electric-driven York YD chillers.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain associated auxiliary equipment supporting steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems.
• Operate and maintain an 8-megawatt cogeneration system, including a natural gas-driven turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG).
• Monitor and maintain the Heat Recovery Steam Generator, capable of producing 80,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi, to ensure reliable and efficient utility plant operations.
