Job Overview Local Applicants Only – Entry Level Data Center Technician. 8 positions open. Basic knowledge of or hands‑on experience with computer hardware and repair required. Location Onsite – New Albany, OH. (Only open to current local applicants. Relocation applicants will not be considered.) Shifts & Hours Mon - Fri 8 am – 5 pm Sun - Wed 10:30 pm – 9:30 am Wed - Sat 10:30 pm – 9:30 am Responsibilities Support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling in the data center. Work closely with Data Center Leads to ensure reliability and performance of data center operations. Contribute to ticket management process and timely resolution. Apply diagnostic methods to troubleshoot data center equipment. Accurately pull and manage inventory in accordance with documented processes. Work cross‑functionally to maintain accurate inventory systems. Develop skill in server repair techniques (replacing hard drives, RAM, motherboards, etc.). Assist with physical tasks such as moving and racking equipment for special projects. Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support operational goals. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Real ID or other federally accepted identification for U.S. travel. Minimum 1 year of general work experience. Basic knowledge of or hands‑on experience with computer hardware and repair. Ability to travel to supported data center locations. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and tools. Strong professional communication skills, verbal and written. Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to multi‑task and manage priorities with minimal supervision. Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move at least 50 pounds. Capable of walking long distances throughout the day. Willingness to work in environments that may include hot aisles and indoor areas reaching 90+°F during certain times of the year. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of computer hardware repair experience. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or currently pursuing one. Compensation Estimated Pay Range: $17.31 – $23.86 USD per hour. Exact compensation will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
