Shipping Associate – 1st Shift
Location: Mohawk, TN
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 4:00AM-1:30PM Shift hours may vary seasonally based on production and shipping demands. Join Our Team!
We're looking for a dependable and motivated Shipping Associate to join a growing warehouse team in Mohawk, TN! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits available upon permanent hire. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy and inspect products before shipping.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (forklift experience is a plus).
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shipping area.
- Follow shipping schedules and meet daily production goals.
- Complete shipping paperwork and utilize warehouse computer systems or scanners.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
