Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,751–$1,762 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Day Shifts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with an emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, determine diagnoses, and develop an appropriate care plan.
- Implement care, coordinate delivery with other disciplines, and monitor safety and environmental conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and escalate changes as needed.
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately, supervise assigned nursing staff, and ensure effective handoffs and documentation.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California).
- BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- CPI/TEAM or TEAM-A, and NRP or NALS training required.
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ER setting and work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule.
