This role goes beyond transactional accounting and is designed for a high-performing professional who can own complex accounting areas, apply technical judgment, and drive continuous improvement across close, reporting, and control processes. A successful Senior Accountant is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Operations, HR/Payroll, and external auditors.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for key balance sheet and P&L accounts.Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and continuous improvement of close processes.Perform variance and flux analysis, investigate drivers of change, and clearly communicate explanations to management. Responsible for invoice creation, submission, and monitoring of the Company's receivables agingWrite, modify and generate general ledger reports as neededParticipates in the development and documentation of formal accounting policies, procedures, and technical accounting memorandums to support audit and regulatory requirements.Partner with FP&A and Reporting teams on ERP enhancements, reporting optimization, and close efficiency initiatives.Assist with implementation and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate fraud risk and ensure SOX compliance.Perform other duties as assignedHow You'll Strengthen Our Team:Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting3 - 4+ years of progressive accounting experiencePreferred Qualifications:CPA certification strongly preferredBig 4 public accounting experience highly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:ASC 606 Revenue RecognitionStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).Experience with procurement/vendor onboarding/spend management platforms (ZIP preferred)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data analysis); ability to work with large data setsHigh intellectual curiosity and ability to think critically beyond transactional processing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to meet communicated and expected deadlinesAble to leverage the work of others and add value, absorbing feedback, and carrying a task to completionEffectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, leadership, co-workers, clients, and others courteously and professionally.Ability to delegate, develop teammates, and expand the capacity of the teamCompensation:$95,000 to $110,000 per yearWe offer competitive compensation that reflects market conditions and recognizes the skills, experience, and contributions of our team members. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location and may fall outside of the range shown above.
