HR Generalist

Job Details Job Location: Bristol Hospice - Salt Lake, UT - SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84116 Position Type: FT salary, salary range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year. Job shift: Day. This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and requires candidates to reside locally to support our Corporate Headquarters. Our Culture Integrity: We are honest and professional. Mutual Respect: We treat others the way we want to be treated. What You Will Be Doing Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies and workplace issues. Support employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans. Partner with managers on onboarding, offboarding, and performance reviews. Answer benefits and policy-related questions with clarity and care. Analyze HR metrics to support business decisions and compliance efforts. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred. 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role. Strong working knowledge of HR functions including State Hiring Laws, Onboarding, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA, ADA. Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
