We are seeking a Legal Assistant that will perform a combination of billable legal project work and non-billable administrative functions. Essential duties will include but not limited to: document preparation and review preparation of indexes, chronologies and case summaries assist with discovery preparation draft routine pleadings, notices, correspondence, declarations, discovery and agency forms such as with the NLRB and PERB binder assembly for trials and arbitrations assist paralegals in locating supporting evidence and records back-up docket/calendar prepare proofread and finalize documents

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years on job experience in a legal assistant role, including compliance with Cal. Bus. and Prof. Code § 6450 Demonstrated knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements Ability to prepare legal documents with minimal supervision Strong organizational, analytical and writing skills Experience maintaining billable time records Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management systems and e-filing platforms
