From initial request through execution, in alignment with state and federal requirements and in support of ODOT’s mission and business partners. The primary focus will be the procurement of personal and professional services, including architect/engineering services and ORS 190 agreements, with additional opportunities to support goods, trade services and public improvement procurements as organizational needs arise. If you are a current State of Oregon employee, you must apply through your employee Workday profile.A day in the life:Coordinate all phases of the contractor selection process in compliance with state and federal rules and policies.Modify contract terms, funding arrangements and policy interpretations during pre‑award and post‑award phases to ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance.Evaluate procurement needs and recommend appropriate solicitation methods, assessing associated risks, insurance requirements, compensation methods, and advertising formats.Prepare, issue and monitor solicitations including addenda and evaluate responses to ensure successful contractor selection.Plan and conduct pre-bid and pre‑proposal conferences. Two of the four years must have been at the professional-level such as developing and administering standard contracts, agreements, or solicitations. ORA bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position. ORAny combination of experience and education equivalent to four (4) years of procurement and contract experience related to the position.
