Insurance Agent

Position Overview We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Newark, DE office. This is an in‑office role; remote work is not available. Success in this role will require building and leveraging a strong local network and establishing in‑person relationships within the community. Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Full‑time. Salary range: USD $55,000 – $65,000. Total first‑year compensation can range from $55,000 to $75,000 with uncapped commissions and potential to exceed $100,000 for top performers. Qualifications Highly self‑motivated and driven: resilient, strong work ethic, minimal supervision required. Natural born leader who manages and organizes time effectively. Gritty and adaptable; works well under pressure and takes ownership of results. Coachable and a team player who loves to learn and seeks continuous improvement. Results‑oriented and competitive; willing to go above and beyond. Charismatic people person who enjoys helping communities stay safe and secure, cultivates new relationships easily, and has superior influencing skills. Previous experience in a sales role converting prospects into customers. State insurance license or willingness to obtain one in Property & Casualty and Life. Effective written and oral communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers. Effective time‑management and organizational skills. Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines. Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base. Benefits Uncapped pay including base salary and bonuses.
