We particularly welcome candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a forward-looking vision for the computing field, a strong commitment to effective teaching and student learning in a four-year undergraduate program, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses in computer science and information technology, including courses within one or more of the preferred areas of specialization. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours (approximately 4 lecture or lab sections) per semester. ABD with a master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field are welcome to apply.
