The Farmers Insurance Protégé Program is a rare opportunity to learn the business from the inside , alongside a successful Farmers Agent, while preparing to launch and own your own independent insurance agency .

It’s a career launchpad designed for driven professionals who want mentorship, structure, and a clear path to entrepreneurship.
What Is the Protégé Program?
The Protégé Program is a hands-on development and mentorship experience where you’ll:
- Learn how to run and grow a profitable insurance agency
- Develop sales, leadership, and business management skills
- Build industry knowledge with real-world experience
- Receive guidance and coaching from an established Farmers Agent
Upon reaching your production goals to graduate and successfully complete the program, you’ll be positioned to open your own Farmers Insurance agency with ongoing corporate and district support. Many new agency owners earn $200,000+ in combined commissions and bonuses in their first year.
If business ownership is your goal, this program is designed to help you get there, faster and smarter with guidance along the way.
