Journeyman Welders WantedTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Welders for projects located in or around Charleston, WV. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$37/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Read and interpret complex industrial sketches, schematics, engineering layouts, and weld symbolsAssemble, align, and secure metal workpieces using custom-built jigs and fixturesPerform thermal cutting using oxyacetylene torches, plasma arc cutters, and air carbon arc gouging equipmentOperate angle grinders, bandsaws, shears, punches, and metal finishing equipmentTroubleshoot and maintain welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed speed, gas flow, and machine settingsPerform MIG (GMAW) welding on a variety of metals and assembliesPerform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and other precision materialsPerform Stick (SMAW) welding using electrodes such as 6011 and 7018Perform Flux-Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel and heavy plate applicationsOperate Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) equipment for high-production welding applicationsMaintain quality workmanship while adhering to safety and production standardsRequirements:Previous professional welding experiencePrevious electrical experienceExperience with blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretationExperience performing MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, and/or Submerged Arc WeldingTools of the trade requiredProper PPE requiredOSHA 10 Certification; TI may provide to qualified candidatesMust be willing to travelMust be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a teamCompany DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe Safe from fraud!
