Position Summary

The Service & Sales Technician is responsible for providing exceptional on-site customer service while performing exterior cleaning services and supporting sales growth through relationship building and lead generation. This position combines technical field work with customer engagement, helping homeowners, commercial clients, and property managers understand the value of professional SoftWash Systems® solutions.

This is a hands-on role for an individual who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with customers, operating specialized equipment, and contributing to the growth of a fast-paced service organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and motivated by delivering outstanding results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Field Service Operations

Perform residential and commercial exterior cleaning services, including roof cleaning, house washing, concrete cleaning, paver restoration, and other specialty services.

Safely operate SoftWash Systems® equipment, pumps, hoses, sprayers, and related tools according to company standards.

Mix, handle, and apply cleaning solutions in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and environmental best practices.

Conduct pre-job and post-job site inspections to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Sales & Customer Engagement

Serve as the face of the company by providing professional, courteous, and knowledgeable customer interactions.

Identify additional service opportunities while on-site and educate customers on available maintenance programs and cleaning solutions.

Generate and submit qualified leads for residential, commercial, HOA, property management, and municipal opportunities.

Assist with estimates, proposals, and follow-up communications as directed by management.

Build positive relationships with homeowners, business owners, property managers, and facility maintenance personnel.

Team & Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain accurate job records, photos, and service documentation using company software and mobile applications.

Participate in company meetings, training programs, and certification courses.

Support warehouse organization, inventory management, and vehicle loading/unloading activities.

Assist with trade shows, community events, and marketing initiatives as needed.

Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and office staff to ensure efficient scheduling and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

1-5 years of Outside Sales Experience.

Ability to close on cold calls.

Previous experience in exterior cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping, construction, home services, or a related field preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate power equipment safely.

Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. (< 6 points)

Ability to pass criminal background check.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic smartphone and tablet proficiency for job documentation and communication.

Willingness to complete and pass company-provided technical and safety training certifications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods.

Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including Florida heat and humidity.

Ability to safely operate and maneuver service vehicles and equipment.

Be on your feet 8+ hours a day

$45k + base pay + 10% Sales Commission + 3% Override
