This is a contract opportunity focused on delivering personalized assistance to students and collaborating with dedicated educators to enhance learning experiences in and out of the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with children or youth in a classroom, childcare, or educational setting
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is highly valued
• A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in education or related field preferred
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and demonstrate proactive problem-solving

Core Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of classroom teachers to support instruction and reinforce lessons and activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, helping them remain engaged and on task
• Assist students with assignments, organization, and social interactions throughout the school day
• Support students with special needs by implementing modifications or accommodations as outlined by education professionals
• Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources as directed by supervising teachers
• Monitor students’ progress and provide input to the primary instructor for ongoing planning
