Make a difference this summer by supporting students as a Paraprofessional in a dynamic and inclusive school environment near San Francisco! Contract opportunities are available across a range of grade levels and specialized programs, with assignments running from June 15 through mid-July. Flexibility and dedication are a must, as paraprofessionals may be placed where their skills are most needed and expected to contribute to all aspects of student care, including feeding, toileting, and specialized support.

Required Qualifications (vary by assignment; please indicate in your application):

• An Associate’s Degree or higher, or 48+ college units and a High School Diploma, or passing the CBEST/instructional aide exam with a High School Diploma.
• Some positions require specific additional certifications or experience, such as:
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification (district-funded training available)
  • Emergency anti-seizure medication module completion
  • Physical health care procedure training (e.g., G-tube feeding, glucose testing)
  • Experience with students with behavioral/social-emotional needs
  • Sign language fluency and knowledge of deaf culture
  • Braille and vision-impaired support coursework
  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse credential
• Willingness to perform all assigned duties, regardless of preference
• Team-player approach and adaptability to shifting school needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive support to students with diverse needs in classroom, community, and campus settings
• Assist with daily living activities, including toileting, feeding, and health-related procedures
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators on student care plans
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
