Sourcing Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Build strong knowledge within assigned categories and contribute to the development of category sourcing strategies.

• Manage and develop plans for assigned spend categories to achieve cost savings targets and supplier performance goals.

• Analyze historical spend to proactively identify sourcing opportunities that improve cost, working capital and payment terms.

• Identify and implement business process standards as well as optimize of existing business systems.

• Develop relationships with key suppliers to provide world class service across multiple sites and businesses.

• Develop and manage RFx activities in coordination with business partners to drive measurable savings results.

• Negotiation of contract terms and conditions in cooperation with business partners.

• Timely resolution of supplier related service issues.

• Ensure accuracy of supplier related data in business systems.

Experience Requirements (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain

• 2+ years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain or Corporate Financial Planning

• Ability to establish and build strong relationships with suppliers and across the organization

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple key activities

• Basic negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Drive to challenge the status quo and collaboratively implement change

• Strong analytical skills (especially MS Excel formulas, pivot tables) and presentation development (especially in MS PowerPoint)

Education/License/Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain/Procurement or Corporate Financial Planning.
