Project Accountant

Position Overview

WH Bass, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Accountant to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting project teams and ensuring the financial success of our work. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and external partners , contributing to the full lifecycle of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up new projects, including entering project data and budgets into accounting systems
• Coordinate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
• Partner with subcontractors to collect compliance documentation (W-9s, certificates of insurance, etc.)
• Process accounts payable invoices and maintain accurate financial records
• Facilitate pay applications for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assemble close-out packages and warranty documentation to successfully complete projects
• Provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and team members as needed
