The facility is a hospital-based outpatient clinic providing specialized infectious disease services to the regional patient population. The clinical environment is staffed with NP/PA, RN, and MA support, and is structured to accommodate locum tenens coverage across defined assignment periods. The facility maintains established protocols to support quality outpatient infectious disease care delivery.

Fort Wayne, Indiana is the state's second-largest city and offers clinicians on assignment a range of cultural and recreational activities. The city features a children's zoo, a science center, an automobile museum, and approximately 8 miles of riverfront trails suited for kayaking, paddling, and biking. The downtown area includes live music venues, food trucks, public art, and a farmers market, while the Allen County Public Library offers notable historical exhibits. Clinicians may also explore 20 hiking, biking, and paddling itineraries through the Fort Wayne Outdoor Pass, and the city maintains a consistent calendar of community events throughout the year.

The infectious disease physician will provide outpatient clinic-based care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 20 to 30 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious disease conditions. The clinician will collaborate with support staff including NP/PA, RN, and MA personnel to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
