Job Description
RN - Med-Surg - Trauma

Schedule

Guaranteed hours are available. Clinicians can sign up for either 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend is required. Shift patterns should be confirmed at submission.

Assignment Details

Contract length is 13 weeks, and no RTO is allowed during the first week. A maximum of 7 days off is permitted during the contract.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient-ratio experience up to 1:6
• Current BCLS (BLS) and ACLS certifications
• Experience with specific skills including Med/Surg management, blood product administration, IV starts, chest tube management, and respiratory support
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients within a Trauma/Acute Care Surgery unit
• Monitor and manage patient conditions and potential complications
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as necessary

Compliance / Notes

A Missouri or compact license must be obtained if not already held. All documentation is due by 3 PM CST on the Monday prior to the start date. Specific parking details will be provided upon request.
