Weekly pay: 1,819 to 1,950 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week for a 3×12 schedule
Setting: Acute care hospital with a Medical-Oncology unit (CHNE 4) consisting of 28 beds; unit serves adult medical/surgical and oncology patients; EPIC charting experience required
Unit features include two Comfort Care Suites for end-of-life patients; float within scope as needed; no on-call required; weekend coverage includes two shifts every other weekend

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical/surgical and oncology patients in a high-acuity unit
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage chemotherapy-related monitoring; perform port access and IV insertion/maintenance as needed
- Interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias; respond to rapid responses and codes using established protocols
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE use; maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Document care in EPIC with accurate, timely nursing notes and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (unit secretary, physicians, and other staff) to coordinate patient care and patient/family education

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (Missouri), or eligibility; pending license accepted per state policy
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
- EPIC experience required for the unit
- Certifications: BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS, Fire Safety; ACLS may be required for certain locations; verify prior to submittal
- Education: RN degree from an approved nursing program
- Ability to work in an acute care, adult medical/surgical and oncology setting; willing to float within scope as needed
