Job Description
GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking to fill multiple Laborer positions in San Diego, CA. The Laborer performs a variety of general manual labor tasks onboard U.S. Navy ships including but not limited to:
- Lifting and moving materials, loading, unloading, painting, grinding, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.
- Transports materials, tools, and equipment to and within work sites as required.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of one year related experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Will be required to Fire Watch so past experience is helpful.
- Experience with ripout and installation of cabling and cableway banding is desired.
