Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy professional is needed to oversee and advance pharmacy operations in Hollidaysburg, PA. This role starts immediately and offers a flexible schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts in a direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong collaboration with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and communicate departmental and company strategies.
- Verify the accuracy of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, ensuring compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Implement and manage clinical programs to boost script growth, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
- Partner with pharmacy leadership to maintain optimal inventory levels, track sales, and maximize profitability.
- Align department goals with seven key performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with healthcare-related inquiries and counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build loyalty and trust.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related concerns.
- Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy environment and promote ongoing staff development to reduce turnover and control labor expenses.
- Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks promptly, including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
- Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License
