About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Copywriter to join a best-in-class creative team, bringing the strategic writing chops to shape the creative & verbal identity and help Ritual break through. As Senior Copywriter, you'll work with cross-functional team leaders to concept, refine, and execute compelling brand and product messaging strategies, up and down the marketing funnel. This role is great for a self-described self-starter who loves to collaborate and is able to confidently advocate for a high standard of work. If you think you know what's funny and if you're passionate about women's health, this is the role for you. Ability to juggle cooks & kitchens is a big bonus.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of messaging & verbal identity for brand campaigns and new product launches.
• Act as a brand voice 'editor', mastering the Ritual POV and reviewing content for quality on an ongoing basis.
• Work alongside channel leads, product managers, designers and art directors to craft smart, vivid "thumb-stopping" executions from upper-funnel TV to Facebook ads.
• Work directly with the Senior Creative Director and company leadership to advise on major verbal strategy decisions.
• Define new processes, helping to implement strategies and protocols around thoughtful use of AI.
• Deeply understand the Ritual consumer, and act as their representative, ensuring external messaging is always considerate of their needs and attention.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 5 years of experience from both in-house and agency environments
• A witty portfolio that demonstrates a sharp, technical command of language.
• You have proven experience across social, email, brand, and growth channels, demonstrating an ability to adapt a message for maximum impact at every touchpoint.
• Verbal, brand, or creative strategy experience, including brief-writing, campaign planning, identity concepting, etc.
• An ability to work with kindness and care, navigating fast-paced environments with a focus on team success and creative excellence.
• A passion for women's health and sustainability.
• Former experience in vitamins, health, or wellness is not needed. Former experience in high-growth start-up environments is appreciated. Compensation

• Pay Range: $80,750 - $100,000
• Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/benefits below.
