Registered Nurse, Critical Care Transport Team - 36hrs *$5,000 Sign-on

Department Summary: The Boston Children’s Hospital Critical Care Transport Team employs experienced registered nurses to provide safe, efficient, family‑centered care to patients requiring critical care in transit. The nurse works under the direction of the team’s medical director, utilizing patient care protocols and transport policies to deliver optimal, evidence‑based care in the mobile environment. Key Responsibilities Provide total clinical nursing care of stable and unstable critically ill children during ground and air transport. Communicate and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members from sending and receiving facilities. Schedule 36 hours per week; rotating days/night shifts and every third weekend. Minimum Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required. Experience : Minimum 3 years ICU or ED experience required. EMT experience preferred. Licensure & Certifications : Current Massachusetts RN license required. PALS/NRP/ACLS/EMT certification required within first year of employment; CCRN certification required within two years of employment. Sign‑on Bonus : Eligible for a $5,000.00 sign‑on bonus (not eligible for internal candidates or former BCH employees who worked here in the past two years).
