Mechanical Engineer, PE | Midstream Natural Gas | RemoteJoin a growing engineering team supporting critical natural gas infrastructure projects across the country. We are seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) with experience in compressor stations, metering stations, pipeline facilities, and natural gas infrastructure projects. This is a fully remote opportunity for an engineer who wants to lead projects from concept through construction while working on high-impact midstream projects.ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical engineering and design efforts throughout the project lifecycleDevelop engineering calculations, specifications, technical reports, and construction packagesSupport the design of compressor stations, metering and regulating stations, pipeline facilities, and associated equipmentCollaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project executionReview equipment selections, vendor submittals, and technical documentationParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability evaluationsInterface directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agenciesProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineersEnsure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety requirementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) License required7+ years of experience supporting natural gas, pipeline, compressor station, or midstream facility projectsExperience leading projects from design through constructionStrong knowledge of facilities, compressor stations, metering stations, and pipeline systemsExperience mentoring and developing junior engineersFamiliarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and regulationsStrong communication and client-facing skillsExperience with CADWorx, SolidWorks, Inventor, Navisworks, and P&ID developmentExperience supporting both greenfield and brownfield projectsWhy Join?100% remote work environmentOpportunity to lead impactful natural gas infrastructure projectsStrong project backlog and long-term stabilityCompetitive compensation and bonus potentialClear opportunities for professional growth and leadershipCollaborative, employee-focused cultureThis is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $96.15/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
