Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1884.96/week - Job Summary: Seeking a dedicated RN for a Level I Emergency Department role focused on patient care for those admitted and awaiting bed availability, including potential assignments in acute care areas. The position requires night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a high-acuity environment, including those boarded in the ED or hallways. Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions within scope of practice. Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient assessments and treatments. Float within clinical scope to meet facility needs, ensuring consistent patient care. Comply with all protocols, safety standards, and certification requirements during shifts. Qualifications: Valid Tennessee or compact state RN license required at time of submission. Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in acute care or MS Tele settings. Current ACLS certification required. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Prior experience with Cerner charting preferred.
