Sr. Director, Business Development - Transactional

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director Business Development - Transactional to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a Legal & Accounting environment. Location: Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $360,000 – $375,000 annually Responsibilities Collaborate with Practice Group Leaders to set business development priorities for transactional practices Lead development and execution of strategies for Tax and Real Estate practices Drive revenue generation initiatives including client relationship reviews and market research Partner with senior business development leaders on cross-practice opportunities Work with brand communications teams to enhance visibility and brand awareness Provide coaching to senior lawyers on business development initiatives Manage and lead a skilled team of marketing and business development professionals Qualifications 15+ years of experience in professional services marketing and business development, ideally in a complex organization Significant management experience is essential Proven record of team building and transformational project management Strong relationship management skills, particularly with high-level stakeholders Benefits Health care coverage Retirement benefits Paid time off including sick leave and vacation Parental leave for new parents Basic life insurance coverage Flexible Spending Accounts available Performance-based discretionary bonuses Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
