Job Title: Senior Mechanical/Electrical Project Technical Specialist
Location: Richland, WA 99354
Onsite - (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)

Summary:
This role provides technical expertise, governance, and operational support for high-risk mechanical projects within a regulated industrial environment. The position supports project managers by ensuring project deliverables meet quality, safety, timeline, and budget expectations. The specialist is considered a subject matter expert, leveraging extensive field experience to optimize execution strategies, reduce project risks, improve schedules, and enhance cost efficiency-particularly during critical outage periods. The role involves collaboration with project management teams, vendors, and field personnel, as well as oversight of key project activities and documentation.
Required / Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive experience in commercial nuclear power plant operations and maintenance
• Hands-on experience supporting multiple refueling outages
• Strong understanding of maintenance and engineering processes in regulated environments
• Expertise in reviewing and improving project documentation, including schedules, work orders, and testing plans
• Familiarity with enterprise project management and work management systems
• Experience with logic-driven project scheduling tools
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in error reduction and human performance improvement methodologies
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and technical review skills
• Ability to provide field oversight and technical governance for large teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
