Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Description *Onsite position only, no remote opportunities* Responsible for providing support for applications that are clinically focused as well as serving as the liaison between IS, the clinical departments, and the physicians. Responsibilities Assist with installing clinical application upgrades and enhancements through collaborations with internal departments and external vendors, developing conversion plans for system changes, including communication and maintenance testing. Provide consultation on process analysis and design. Assist with user training. Create documentation for training, maintenance and support, including problem resolution and escalation decision trees. Assist with development of plans and materials for employee education, including the evaluation of training effectiveness. Collaborate with IS staff and users to develop test plans, including integration and user acceptance testing. Required Experience Registered Nurse in the State of IL Experience within Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Ability to support Cerner EMR Ability and willingness to learn new tools and Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) #J-18808-Ljbffr
