Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 PM - 02:30 AM Tue: 06:00 PM - 02:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, parking areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or property-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control procedures, visitor interactions, and policy enforcement in accordance with post instructions. Complete routine reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate notable activity, hazards, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
