The Digital Engineering Faculty of the University of Potsdam and HPI offers a computer science engineering degree program that is unique in Germany. In the course of its strong growth, the Hasso Plattner Institute is looking for the earliest possible start date for a PhD candidate (m/f/x) The position is temporary for a period of 3 years and full‑time. Our research group, led by Henrike Heyne (lecturer at the Chair of Data Analytics and Computational Statistics, Hasso Plattner Institute and Digital Engineering Faculty, University of Potsdam, Germany) is seeking applications for a PhD position. In our team we are working with large and small genomic and health datasets with the goal to better understand and alleviate disease. Conducting research with real‑world impact on large‑scale multimodal biomedical data with our group and international collaboration partners (such as Mount Sinai, NY, US) leading to your PhD.
