Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Compassion and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed records

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop appropriate therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school personnel, and parents to support student progress
• Monitor and document student improvement, adjusting plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations
• Educate school staff on best practices for supporting students with physical needs in the classroom
