Quality InspectorAerotek is hiring for Quality Inspector!Job Title: Quality InspectorLocation: Cranston, RI, USSchedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourAbout the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with production teams in the Box Build and Wire Harness departments to identify defects, perform measurements, and maintain accurate quality records.ResponsibilitiesInspect products and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.Perform visual inspections and basic dimensional checks using measuring tools.Conduct process and product audits.Record inspection results in the quality management system.Create and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when issues are found.Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, work instructions, and procedures.Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, microscopes, and other inspection tools.Work with production teams to maintain quality standards.Assist in creating Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for new products and production runs.Required QualificationsPrevious experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance.Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify colors accurately and perform detailed visual inspections.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsExperience with PCB components, cable assemblies, or box build assemblies.J-STD Certification.Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.Experience using CMM or similar measurement equipment.Why Join Us?Stable, team-oriented work environment.Profit-sharing program.Employee recognition and monthly team events.Opportunities for long-term growth and development.Friendly, supportive company culture where your work makes a difference.Apply today if you have a strong eye for detail and a passion for quality!Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranston, RI.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
